Pharmacy technicians are the backbone of the pharmacy team, ensuring patients receive their medications safely and efficiently. They meticulously dispense medications, counting tablets, measuring liquids, and labeling everything according to doctor’s orders. But their role goes beyond that. They double-check prescriptions for accuracy, process medication refills, and manage pharmacy inventory. They also play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and sterile environment. On top of that, pharmacy technicians interact directly with patients, answering their questions and providing medication information. In short, they’re the unsung heroes who keep pharmacies running smoothly and contribute significantly to patient well-being.
